Bruce Almighty

God : "Do you want her back?"

Bruce : "No, I want her to be happy...

...I want her to find someone who will always see her
the way i see her now."

Today i was able to watch Bruce Almighty for the nth time. And i don't think that conversation above struck me as much as it did today. Sometimes with our relationship with God, we tend to be selfish and ask for things that only benefit ourselves. Sometimes we just dwell on the problems that we are faced with, rather than saying thank you for all the good that we have in our lives. Sometimes we question God for the faults we encouter with our other relationships with other people, yet never thank him when things turn out the way we want them to. But in the past years i've realized how life can be just like a rollercoaster ride. Sometimes it's just not about finding the answers but knowing its purpose in your own life and knowing that you've faced all your misfortunes head on and with a strong heart. Life can never be perfect (but lucky for those who have seemingly perfect lives :)). And i think it can only be detrimental to think that it is. But it's not wrong to fear pain, it's not wrong to cry, it's not wrong to wish for something else. It's not wrong to wish for someone, it's not wrong to wonder about the "what-ifs". But one must learn to move on; to smile despite the tears, to fight despite the pain and to start living again :)

Haha in spite of my senti-ness that actually sounded too serious :P hehe. But that part of the movie actually made me cry a bit :) Not only because of everything that's written above but wouldn't it be so wonderful to have someone love you that much??? :) hehehe :)
